New Growth - This month’s photo contest theme was New Growth, celebrating the signs of a new season. From fresh blooms and emerging greenery to changing landscapes, wildlife activity, and new experiences, the theme highlighted growth, renewal, and the excitement that comes with new beginnings. 

About the Photographer

Katt is spending her first season in Haines as a Wildlife and Photography Guide with Rainbow Glacier Adventures. Originally from Colorado, she has a deep passion for wildlife and is known around the team as our "bear expert." Whether she’s sharing her knowledge of Alaska’s incredible wildlife or capturing memorable moments through her lens, Katt brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a love for the outdoors to every tour.
