I wanted to make sure that this got posted on our Facebook page. We hope to have a steady stream of new photos coming your way this season! I really needed a Northern Lights photo for my Bald Eagle Preserve book, and luckily I got this one before the long summer nights arrived and its hard to see the Northern Lights. This was a bit tricky since I didn’t have my tripod but I used my self-time, put the camera on Aperture Priority, ISO 400 and used my jacket as a “beanbag” to stabilize the camera.
