Behind the Lens: Team Photo Contest
Each month during our operating season, our team joins in a friendly photo contest to capture the moments that define life out here. The wild, the beautiful, the unexpected, and everything in between. Photos are submitted by staff and voted on by both the team and our local community. June
Bloomin’ June – As Alaska begins to unfold, it bursts with color, texture, and light. From lupine lined meadows and wild irises to mossy forest floors and snow capped peaks, June is a celebration of fresh growth and vibrant contrast. With Bloomin’ June as the theme, our team set out to capture the beauty of early summer. Floral, fresh, and full of possibility.

Originally from Florida, Karla has a gift for capturing the kind of fleeting beauty that makes Alaska feel so alive. As the winner of our very first RGA Photo Contest, she set the tone with this incredible shot of a Savannah Sparrow perched on freshly bloomed Nootka Lupine.
July
Guides in Action! – July was all about capturing the heart of what makes Rainbow Glacier Adventures so special: the people. This month’s theme celebrated our guides in their element – whether helping guests, gathering with the team, or exploring the incredible places we call home. With Guides in Action, the focus was less about the view and more about the people who make it all happen.
